Lily Pads

This beautiful pond is in Castle Kennedy Gardens. The whole place is outstanding but at this time of year the pond is extra special. At least I think so!!

It could be the Highlands .......

.......... but it's actually the Galloway Forest Park. Stunning!! I love the fence in the foreground - it aint gonna keep anything in that's for sure!!

It's Spriiiiiingtime (said in a Noddy Holder style)!!

Oh yeah - it really is you know!! Officially it was yesterday but I don't take truck with all that nonsense (I make the law didn't you know??!!). We decided ages ago that 1st March was Spring. So there.


Anyhowz - how much more proof do you need - buds on the trees and lambs in the field. Whoooo hoooooo!!

Snowy Hills

We don't get snow here very often, even with the terrible weather the whole Country has had we really haven't had much more than a couple of flurries and some bad ice so we have to photograph it when we can!! This is the view from the road at the bottom of our house. Pretty good!!
